This month the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma gifted $25,000 to Hearts for Hearing to support charitable programs for children. This is in addition the December 2018 grant that gifted $25,000 to Hearts for Hearing to support thier programs for children. Hearts for Hearing is an Oklahoma-based nonprofit providing comprehensive hearing health care, speech-language therapy services and support to children, families, and adults with hearing challenges.

Hearts for Hearing was established in 2003 to provide funding for children’s hearing aids. It quickly grew into a comprehensive hearing health program for children with hearing loss, offering both audiology services and auditory-verbal therapy. In 2013, to meet the growing demand for adult hearing health care, the mission expanded again to open a clinic specifically designed for adults. Comprehensive care is available in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

The gifts will benefit families across the state by providing the first set of hearing aids to children ages 5 and under at no cost to families, as well as providing financial assistance for specialized speech therapy and audiology services.

The Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma’s grants will fund services for children with hearing loss, impacting their lives for many years to come. More information is available at heartsforhearing.org.
