Every year, the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma provides substantial funding to the Oklahoma Association of Area Agencies on Aging to support our Oklahoma senior citizens as they age in place in their homes.
The Oklahoma Association of Area Agencies on Aging (O4A) is a nonprofit, statewide network of agencies that provide services for the elderly. O4A was established in 1985 to enhance the capabilities of Oklahoma’s area agencies on aging so they can more efficiently and effectively carry out their roles and responsibilities as provided for in the Older Americans Act. The Association addresses issues which have an impact on the aging network, provides services to members, and serves as a collective voice for Oklahoma’s Area Agencies on Aging.
In 2018, $783,260.94 in funding was given to O4A from the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma on behalf of the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma for use in the 2019 calendar year!
These funds provide direct services to O4A clients: wheelchair ramps and small home repairs, meal services, eyeglasses, dental care, and other needs not provided by insurance or government programs. Find the agency that serves your county here: http://oarcok.org/aging/
The Masonic Charity Foundation is proud to support programs that help improve the lives Oklahoma’s senior citizens.
