Masonic Charity Foundation response letters

We receive many letters of thanks for our efforts, but the real blessings are fulfilling the needs of our fellow men and women who simply need help to survive.

[The people whom we helped] ask me to forward the enclosed "Thank You" note for helping them get much needed roof repairs... We too are very thankful for your helping to get this accomplished. Our lodge has picked up the balance of the bill for the repairs, but it is because of COEDD we were able to get the job done.

Thank you for doesn't seem adequate enough for the enormous burden you lifted from my family. I am under Hospice care and our septic system was backing up in our home. Unable to use the toilet, bathe, do dishes or wash clothes, you can't imagine what a nightmare it has been. Having our septic system cleaned solved so many problems. May the blessings you send out come back tenfold.

My husband is in the early stages of cancer and not able to work due to chemo and radiation treatments. I only have a part-time job and am trying to take care of him and get him to treatments. Your assistance on our behalf was such a help and a blessing. We had no idea how we were going to make it.

Thank you so much for the help with my husband's dental problems. We come from a Masonic and Eastern Star background. This took a lot of stress from our lives.

I want to thank each one of you from the bottom of my heart for your blessings to me. With no income and pending disability proceedings when my car broke down and needed repair, you came to my rescue. Because of your help, I will be able to seek out part-time work.

My home burned and I had no insurance. The Masonic Foundation assisted me with some much needed home repair. I truly hope this program will continue as there are so many older citizens needing assistance.

You are incredible! It's tough to find yourself divorced, working two jobs to support three teenaged boys and yourself at my age. Never expect to find yourself with no bed to sleep in. My new bed and mattress set was delivered yesterday. I slept twelve hours on it last night. Thank you so much Masonic Foundation for your concern and for the speedy solution to one of my financial burdens.

With sincere thanks, I write this letter to you and your wonderful organization. As I am preparing for a kidney transplant, several things must take place. Dental work to rid my body of all infection is just one of those items. This was the last and most expensive phase to complete. Because of your organization and help you were willing to give, I have recently been put on the Kidney Transplant List. A major phase in saving my life. From the bottom of my heart... I thank you!
