Masonic Charity Foundation Named Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation

MASONIC CHARITY FOUNDATION OF OKLAHOMA NAMED OUTSTANDING PHILANTHROPIC FOUNDATION OF THE YEAR

For over 25 years, Oklahoma Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) has recognized the most notable community members, organizations and philanthropists each year during their observance of the National Philanthropy Day.  AFP announced that the National Philanthropy Day Oklahoma selection committee has selected the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma to be honored as this year’s recipient of the Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation award.

The 2009 Philanthropy Day honorees are an exceptionally dedicated group whose efforts have made notable impact on the non-profit sector of the Oklahoma community. Below is a list of those  honored along with the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma at the Oklahoma National Philanthropy Day Celebration Luncheon, on October 30, 2009 at the Skirvin Hilton in downtown Oklahoma City.

In addition to the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Oklahoma Chapter will recognize the following individuals and organizations for their outstanding philanthropic contributions to our community.

Outstanding Youth that Make a Difference: Aaron Bullock

Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy: Cheri Cartwright (Posthumously)
