Dewey Lodge assists 97 year old member who needed storm damaged tree removed

Brother Virgil Miller, 97, has been a member of Dewey Lodge for 44 years. He is still active and serving the Lodge as its Chaplain.

Brother Miller needed to have a rather large elm tree removed from his property. The tree was damaged by a late winter snow storm that came through the area.

Dewey Lodge had a fund raiser at the May 2nd “Stray Kat Kar Show” when they sold pulled pork sandwiches to raise $500. They also appropriated another $475 from their treasury and applied for Matching Funds from the Masonic Charity Foundation. These funds were used to pay for the tree removal.
