Programs for Public Schools

The Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma sponsors several programs for the direct benefit of Oklahoma public school students and administrators. Is your school participating?

Student of Today / Teacher of Today: Certificates recognizing exceptional students and teachers for EVERY public school who makes a nomination.

Senior Essay Contest: Cash prizes up to $5,000 for winning schools, and up to $2,000 cash prize for winning students.

High School Ethics Bowl: Debate-styled competition with winning team advancing to national competition, administered by the SEED Foundation. Cash grants may be available for travel expenses.

Photo Contest: $25 cash prize for each winning photo.

Matching Funds Program: Public schools are not eligible to directly apply for Matching Funds. However, our Oklahoma Masonic lodges are big supporters of public schools! Many lodges regularly partner with public schools to do fundraisers for PTA, band/arts programs, booster clubs, etc. and the funds raised in those campaigns may be eligible to be matched. If you need help locating the Masonic lodge in your area, please contact our office at 405-348-7500.
