Student of Today

The Student of Today program is another successful Grand Lodge Program now administered by the Foundation. Its purpose is to encourage outstanding performance in students of all grade levels by recognizing exemplary students. It is not an expensive program--we prepare a certificate to be given to the student at an awards assembly (or, in some cases, at a special banquet held in the Lodge) and a member of the local Lodge makes the presentation. But in many schools, the Student of Today Award, presented by the Masons, is the most prestigious and coveted award in the entire school.

Few things so clearly reflect the educational goals of the Foundation, or accomplish so much for both the Fraternity and the students. We're proud to be a player in this important project.

In 2007, the Foundation prepared 2,541 Student of Today certificates for presentation by 205 participating Lodges.
